Kirking of the Council | City Centre and Old High Church - 10:30
The oldest event in the Inverness events calendar - the Kirking of the Council has been staged every year since medieval times. The parade of city organisations leaves Crown Primary School at 10.30am and travels down Stephen's Brae and along Inverness High Street to escort the Provost, Councillors and Senior Representatives of a number of organisations along the river side to the Old High Church. Everybody is invited to the Kirking Service which commences at 11.00 and is open to everybody. This colourful parade really has a unique place in the hearts of our city. Don't forget your cameras!
